We rented all 3 of Don's properties for our annual Girl's trip for our Investment Club and we couldn't have been more pleased! Everything was exactly as described in the listings and our stay was even better than we had anticipated. The location was fantastic! An easy, quick walk to the beach, such great neighborhoods, easy access to shopping, restaurants, and activities. The properties were clean, light, bright and cheerful with plenty of entertaining space for our group. The beds were comfortable with plenty of options for our group of women ranging in ages from 45-80! Don was responsive and very helpful every step of the way. We are a very particular group and every one of us had *the best* time - no complaints! Our expectations were high and were absolutely exceeded. We definitely want to make a return to the Cape and will absolutely stay at Don's properties.

Great Location, Great Owner, Clean & Accommodating, Updated Space!

Family of 4 - parents and 2 young adults in early 20's - spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed the space. Location is amazing - can walk back and forth to the beach easily. Beach was beautiful, private for the homes in this area only. We are very nit-picky about cleanliness and were assured by the owner before we got there that it would be acceptable and he was right. The kitchen and bathrooms (most important rooms in a house) were updated, appliances in great shape. A stacked washer and dryer, and more storage space, were cleverly hidden in the master bathroom behind a chic barndoor that slid over the shower /tub space. Living space and bedrooms were comfortable and there was lots of natural light during the day.

We stayed in a lot, instead of going out to eat. Our son is a chef and was able to make full use of the fully-equipped kitchen nightly, serving gourmet, several course meals. After dinner we took nice walks in the safe neighborhood and watched TV together on the nice big sofa. Everyone slept comfortably at night and we used the kitchen again for feast-type brunches in the mornings.

The beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cart) were in great shape and we made use of them on our daily excursions to the beach. Before our visit and throughout our visit, the owner was extremely communicative. Answered all our questions in detail, and responded right away. Anything he said he would do to accommodate us, he was true to his word and did. Very nice and honest man. I could see how during non-pandemic times this location is even better due to its close proximity (walking distance) to shops and restaurants. There were tons of biking and walking trails throughout the neighborhood as well and my husband explored some of them on his morning runs. We had a really nice family vacation and would definitely go back.

Amazing stay at Popponesset

Don's property is amazing. The purpose for our vacation was to reunite with some old friends and their kids and the house was spacious enough that it never felt cramped. The beach down the street and the shopping village were perfect, you almost don't have to leave the village.

Don returned messages promptly, his property manager (I believe it was Bob) was helpful and there were zero problems encountered. The house is updated and was clean prior to arrival. Overall a fantastic stay and can not stress how great a spot it is.

We have just returned from a week staying at Don's beautiful home. The location was perfect and only a 4-5 minute walk to a wonderful beach with plenty of room! The house had everything we needed, including beach chairs, umbrellas, central air and paper products. The house is updated with very comfortable beds and plenty of room!

The outdoor space is also very nice and we enjoyed a few meals using the provided gas grill. It was a great space for my family and would most definitely recommend it. Also, the neighborhood is lovely with very friendly neighbors!

Don was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions.

Memorial Day Weekend Fun!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well organized, clean and felt brand new - with everything we needed for a lovely long weekend. We travelled with another family (a total of 4 adults and 4 children), and the house more than accommodated our group (2 washers and dryers were a bonus!).

We loved the location and the ability to walk to the beach, a playground and Popponesset Marketplace.

Don was very responsive and easy to work with. You can tell he takes pride in his home. It rained for most of our stay, but we still had a great time and can't wait to return

Best Rental in New Seabury

We rented this house as well as another property owned by Don for our groomsmen and bridal party for our wedding in New Seabury. From our very first conversation with Don all the way through to our Check-in and stay, Don could not have been more accommodating and hospitable to us. We were struggling to find houses large enough to accommodate everyone in our wedding as well as their spouses, but this property as well as the Uncle Henry properties were exactly what we needed. The house is very up to date and modern. 2 minute walk to Poppy Beach. We cannot recommend this house enough!

Cape Cod Family Trip

We recently stayed at 8 and 10 Wharf Ave and I just want to say that the properties were immaculate. We had 14 people for a family vacation to Cape Cod and the two houses were perfect. A large lot with plenty of parking, a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the Popponesset marketplace. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to any large group. My wife and I hated to leave.

My family had a great 4th of July week at these houses! There is a great yard space for hanging out and playing games. It’s a 3 minute walk to a private beach and the marketplace. When the internet went down it was repaired within hours. There are many beach accessories for use so we did not have to bring as much of our own. I would highly recommend renting these houses!

We loved staying at this house. We had a big family group which occupied each of the six bedrooms, however never felt crowded thanks to the open kitchen (with big table!) and living room. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, which worked out well for the 5 kids under 4 years old that were in our group. There was also plenty of space to put pack n plays in each bedroom. It was a perfect house for us!

Ample room to spread out. Houses were beautiful and lots of linens/towels to go around. Super short walk to the beach and Bob's cafe (at the marketplace). The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Property manager also came by to make sure everything was good, even though we had not contacted him. Short drive to Mashpee Commons for restaurants, grocery store, etc.

I would suggest better WiFi as many of us got kicked off randomly and required router reset and also a couple more double beds.

I wish I'd known about the WIFI - I could have helped. It's top of the line, 2018 equipment with the upgraded (not the standard) Comcast Cable. There is a separate WIFI network in each house. They are each strong enough so that you can connect to the one next door, though it's much better range if you connect to the house you are in. That being said, I will have it all checked out. As for the beds, we find that our guests generally appreciate the flexibility of twins vs. full beds, plus each person gets more sleeping room. Sometimes people will slide twins together to form a quasi-King.

Fantastic family vacation and many memories to bring home! We were looking for something that could suit 17 of us and these two properties combined couldn't have been more perfect! Both property are clean, adorably decorated and full of everything you may need! A VERY short walk to the private beach was fantastic for coordinating nap times and down times as each family needed it. Biking and walking trails for all to enjoy and the downtown market with live music most nights is just a two minute walk away. Great for ice cream for the kids, mini golf, the most amazing lobster roll at the local restaurant. Golfing is also two minutes away but we did not play as we were just having too much fun relaxing on the beach. Don, the property owner was MORE than helpful prior to and during our stay, extremely responsive and helpful for anything needed. I would highly recommend this vacation to anyone! Thank you Don for a wonderful trip!

Absolutely wonderful ! We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room to socialize as a whole or in smaller groups. I parked my car for the week and walked a short distance to the private beach or to the shops and restaurants at the Marketplace. Most of the bedrooms are on one level so the cottages are convenient for all ages. They are bright and clean - just bring your suitcase and sunscreen! Easy and carefree Multi- Generation retreat

Totally enjoyed our large family vacation at this property. There were 18 of us, ranging in age from 11 months to 84. Enough space for everyone to congregate together and eat together, and not feel on top of each other - at all. Totally casual and comfortable homes -- with air conditioners that worked perfectly. Easy to walk to the Beach and the Village, and the Poppy Inn is also a 4 minute walk away.

We literally barbequed 6 nights - and the grill is right off the kitchen. The homes are well stocked and easy to work in. And the living room/dining area of the main house worked for all to sit and eat together.

Finally, the owner and the property manager were both super helpful and made sure our entire group enjoyed the stay. Thanks again

Spacious, clean and well located

We had great time during our stay at the house. It accommodated all our five adults and eight children easily. Plenty of rooms. Nicely located close the beach, only few minutes’ walk. The Mashpee common is close by for shopping, dinner or ice cream. Don was very helpful and quick to response anytime we had a question and trying to figure out something. Will definitely consider going back again to this house if the opportunity present itself in the future..

Great place for family vacation

We rented both 8 & 10 Wharf and had a large family gathering for a graduation celebration. It was just as advertised and Don is quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

Nice walking paths and a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the supply of paper goods and hand soap, etc. Washer and dryer available so don't overpack! Plenty of restaurants a short drive away.

We were not aware of how awesome this area is but we found out fast. It is in such a perfect location in a really upscale town and neighborhood. The houses are in great shape. They had both been updated recently and had mostly new furniture as well. Having 2 houses gave us so much flexibility and it was nice to have a bit of privacy at times. The beach was beautiful, quiet and the water was still warm in early September. The owner and his crew were very helpful and easy to deal with. There is so much to see and do. Walk/bike paths, kayak rentals etc. Restaurants in town are to die for. Thanks for the recommendation to Soprano's - best Italian ever! We took an easy day trip to Marthas Vineyard, which we loved. This vacation could not have been much better and we will return.

We really enjoyed the homes. They are in great condition and this location on Cape Cod was excellent. A really nice private beach and the marketplace was just a 2-3 minute walk from the houses. The marketplace is great with mini-golf, music, food, ice cream. bike and kayak rentals and cool shops - great for all ages. The beach was sandy. not crowded and great for our 1 year old - 85 year old great grandmom. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrella and carts at the house. There was plenty of space for the whole family-inside and outside. The homes were rebuilt as of recently so they have all the modern conveniences including Central AC. In the town center, We enjoyed the large back yard and outside tables and chairs. We actually had a big barbeque right on the property. We loved the Popponesset Inn just a short walk away and the excellent dining. The memories that were made here will never be forgoten - it was our best location and that says a lot because we are picky neat freaks. We are already booked to go back!

The close proximity of the two houses made it possible for us to get together with our whole family. We had lots of fun outdoor dinners and sports activities on the large property as well as memorable times and meals at the Poppanesset complex right up the path!

I stayed with my extended family in both cottages for a week. 7 adults and 5 kids (ages 1.5-9 years old) fit easily and comfortably in the houses. The rental process was extremely easy. It was reassuring to be in contact with the direct owner, who was patient and willing to answer all of our questions ahead of time.

Each house has 3 bedrooms off the living quarters - one larger with a single big bed, and two smaller with two twin beds. The larger house also has a gigantic master suite with king sized bed, en suite bath, and a loft with tons of additional sleeping space, if needed. Both houses are bright and cheerfully decorated, but not so much that you can't easily make it feel like your own home away from home.

The Popponessett marketplace is a 5 minute walk along a wooded trail - one part of a larger trail system that is great for getting a long walk in. The marketplace has everything you'd want - gift stores, ice cream, mini golf, restaurant/wine bar - just enough to be a fun place to go, but not over developed.

The trail to the marketplace goes right past the property, so during "rush hour" you can hear people chatter, but it was always quiet by a reasonable time. Actually, the houses are probably the two most private places in Maushop Village (a private beach community on the edge of a golf course). There is a large flat lawn, which is awesome for the kids to run around. It was really easy to entertain - with the two grills and lots of seating.

The beach is amazing for kids. It is a 5 minute walk, mostly on a paved path. The sand is soft, and there are enough shells to gather to keep the little ones interested (although not the biggest variety of shells). The water was so warm - probably close to 80 degrees. There are a few rocky patches, but once you get out a way it's completely sandy. The waves are easy to manage - not very high. You can stand in the water pretty far from shore.

We definitely needed beach umbrellas (we used one from each house, provided with the rental) and we were happy we had brought our own beach tent - the sun is bright and there is little shade. The kids had a great time digging a giant hole and building sand castles.

Between the houses, the proximity to the market and the beach - and the wonderful quality of both - we can't recommend this place enough. We hope to come back soon!

Location, Location, Location - Perfect for Families!

We have stayed at Don's property two years in a row and are looking forward to coming back next year. We have 3 families that now includes 7 children and 6 adults. The two homes are more then enough room. It is a very quick walk to the beach and to Popponesset Marketplace which has outdoor music most nights that the kids absolutely LOVE. It is also a quick drive to Mashpee Commons which has nice shopping and rainy day options. That said...we hardly ever have to leave the property because it has everything we need!

Perfect destination for a family reunion! We comfortably had 3 different families stay in these cottages. Great location...just a few minutes to a beautiful beach. The kids loved being able to ride their bikes around the quiet neighborhood streets, and it was literally a 2 minute walk to the Marketplace where we ended up a few times a day between the free concerts, ice cream, the raw bar, the pizza parlor, and putt putt! Beautiful Homes - Beautiful Area

I recently stayed in these two homes with a group of friends. The homes and surrounding area are outstanding; the marketplace close by has some nice restaurants, shops, and the beach is only a short walk away. There is also a country club within the village for those who are interested in golf. The homes provide plenty of space and can accommodate large groups.

We stayed at this New Seabury property for weekend getaway. Plenty of room between the two houses for multiple families and kids, great amenities and outdoor space. The location is excellent, with short walks to both a very nice private beach and the Popponnesset marketplace where you can get coffee, breakfast food, ice cream and some great seafood. In addition, the shops and restaurants of Mashpee are a short drive away. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing Cape getaway!

We were in Cape Cod for a wedding, the location, amenities and accommodations are just beautiful. Both homes were very clean, comfortable and well maintained with enough space for 2 large families. When we had questions the owner responded accurately in timely manner. I would recommend these 2 homes to family & friends. The private beach is a 2 minute walk, shopping, restaurants are very close and a great golf course in minutes away.

Great Cape Cod Rental!

Great property with great location! The two houses are located at the end of a cul de sac that provides both privacy and easy access to the beach; a literal 2 minute walk. Both homes were super clean and contained ample supply of clean towels and bedding linens to accommodate for groups of all sizes. In addition, both neighbors and village residents were friendly and eager to offer their local insight. Overall, our group had a great time and experience here! Would recommend to family and friends!

GREAT location, clean & spacious!!

This was the IDEAL house for us! It was LARGE enough to fit us all comfortably, which wasn't easy job as there were 16 people between the ages of 9 and 86 traveling out of town for a family wedding! The rooms were SPACIOUS, the house WELL-MAINTAINED and the LOCATION couldn't be beat. We enjoyed family meals, walks to the beach, and great shopping just a few minutes down the road.

The owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our stay went off without a hitch. He was quick to respond to questions, offered wonderful suggestions and was a pleasure to work with.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to a friend or relative and have high hopes of returning myself!

For our family reunion of 16 this was a great house. There is even a decent sized shaded back yard which was perfect for young kids. Easy walk to beach with the provided beach chairs and beach cart. Amazing kitchen and a quiet house for sleeping with young kids.

Home owner is very accessible. We contacted him with a house issue - his response was extremely quick and he immediately dealt with and solved the issue. Also he was very accommodation to us. Great cleaning staff.

A great week and positive experience staying at this house as well as working with the homeowner.

Brand NEW and beautiful house, Great location!

We were the first guests in this beautiful new home, and we will for sure be back. The house itself is bright and airy with an open floor plan, perfect for entertaining, and hanging out with all your family or friends. We had our entire family, including 5 children (perfect in the bunk room;) and we had more than enough space to spread out, but enjoyed all being together on the main level as well. We enjoyed dinners outside on the back patio and late night games in the kitchen. The house is beautifully appointed and decorated, and the friendly owner Don, is immediate to respond if anything is needed. It is clear he aims to please and wants his guests to be happy. The location of this house is perfect, in a quiet, safe neighborhood and very close walking distance to the beach (3 short blocks). It's all in the description of house I'm sure, but beach chairs and carts for the walk to the beach are also included. The beach itself is peaceful, quiet, well maintained, with nice sand, and was perfect for swimming. Nearby, we ran the dirt trails, visited the Marketplace for breakfast and mini-golf, and drove to nearby Mashpee Commons for dinner and shopping. We felt nothing was lacking, and had a wonderful family vacation! We highly recommend this house/owner (he has several other properties there) to anyone. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Don!
